Andrew Samalin Named Treasurer of the New York Association of Collaborative Divorce Professionals

We are pleased to announce that Andrew Samalin, CFP®, EA, CDFA™ of the Samalin Group, has been asked to take on the role of Treasurer for the New York Association of Collaborative Divorce Professionals (NYACP). Andrew currently serves on the Board of Directors, and he will be succeeding Martin Blaustein, CPA who has served as Treasurer for multiple terms.

Andrew Samalin has extensive experience in the field of divorce and finance. In addition to private practice, he is the Immediate Past President of the Association of Divorce Financial Planners and heads Second Saturday Westchester, a not-for-profit that assists those going through divorce. In addition, he was appointed Treasurer for Bethel Nursing Homes, named to its Executive Committee, and Chairs its Investment Committee. Andrew is a member of the Financial Planning Association and other industry organizations.

Andrew is honored to accept this new role within the NYACP—an interdisciplinary team of divorce professionals who advocate for client-centered, non-adversarial divorce resolutions. The NYACP helps its members maximize their potential and advance their practices through networking, training and increasing public awareness of the benefits of Collaborative Practice.

Samalin Group is made up of Samalin Investment Counsel, an SEC registered investment advisory, and Samalin Divorce Finance, a divorce financial planning firm—both serving professionals, their clients and the families.
